Cash App CFPB Settlement
Cash App has reached an agreement with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to resolve a matter principally related to certain aspects of Cash App's historical customer service program. The historical issues raised in this agreement do not reflect the Cash App experience today. We are dedicated to our investments in maintaining and enhancing our industry-leading standards.
The agreement with the CFPB includes compensation for certain affected Cash App consumers. If you are an affected consumer entitled to compensation, we will contact you with more details as soon as we have more information to share. You do not need to do anything at this time to obtain redress (including potential compensation), which also means you do not need to file a complaint with the CFPB. We will also update this page with more information as it becomes available.
